Loved the water and the space.. bathroom could use a good deep clean. And to the lady who was up til one am loudly complaining about "the light" every 5 seconds just turn a different direction and quit whining
What a gem of a peaceful welcoming place to rejuvenate! I was welcomed with the warmest hospitality by Naomi who explained with such enthusiasm all the amenities of the springs and showed me the way to my campsite in the dark — she even provided an extra blanket and pillow from her personal stash as we were camping spontaneously. She provided all kinds of info regarding the surrounding area with uncanny passion, so I I felt like we made a friend and found a new home away from home. She also recommended some delicious homemade baked goods they offer there. Must try! I felt so taken care of and will visit again very soon. 💐
The Wellsprings is an easy going spa experience. The sauna and steam room are in good working order and the hot springs is a good temperature with great mineral water. The pool is a great refreshing temperature year round. Overall this place offers a rejuvenating place to refresh and cleanse the body and mind.
Laid-back, very "granola" vibe here! Wonderful yet inexpensive alternative to otherwise expensive hot springs in Oregon. We paid for two 1.5 hr sessions - opting for the "clothing optional" evening session from 9 pm - 10:30 pm, and the regular morning session from 9 am - 10 :30 am. The evening crowd attracted primarily "youngsters" like ourselves - men & women in their late 20s and 30s, very talkative, very social. However, the morning crowd was 180degrees opposite - we were likely the youngest ones there by a few decades!!! They "shush"ed those who spoke above a whisper, and so many glares were thrown around. We found it very entertaining! Camping here is cheap and in an open meadow at the front of the compound. We felt safe (although cold!!!) and none of our stuff seemed to have been messed with when we left it unattended. However, we did catch sight of 2 tweakers who camped out beside us, talking about "who has the dope" - their car had fabric covering all its windows (we assume they were shooting up inside while their little girl waited outside) but they were gone by morning. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience!
Great place to camp or have an extended stay! The rates for camping are really cheap especially since there is the mineral tub. If you want to stay in the Tipi or any other Glamping tents they are also very affordable no more than $45 a night. The wellspring is very clean just remember to make a reservation because they only let so many people in the hot tub between cleanings.
Disgusting. We stayed in a dome, which reeked of essential oils. Now we are on the road and we all smell like weed from our night there. Definitely nothing like the website shows. I would not recommend on any account, and I am sorry we didn’t just cancel and swallow the $60. Pools are not included in the stay which was a major disappointment after driving 11 hours to get there, I wasn’t going to pay $35 for our kids to get an hour of swimming. We have been on a month long road trip and thought this looked like a fun way to end our trip. What a major disappointment, and I regret staying because I am pretty sure I will have to wash everything twice to get the smells out. Nasty nasty nasty. The dome itself was hard to hear anything in from across the room, but no problem hearing every word from the small dome next to it, all night long. Sigh. I don’t usually write any reviews, but hopefully this saves another family from making the same mistake.
Love camping in the meadow. The other campers are always very respectful. The soaking area is worth it every time. My favorite place is the sauna though. I will be back religiously.
Love the hot springs here, but the pool and hot tub were sooooo dirty. You could see sheets of dead skin cells floating around in the hot tub, tons of hair, and lots of debris in the pool. We were trying to have a relaxing experience but the grunge of the facilities was concerning and disappointing.
